Zaki future on hold

Zaki told Arabian TV channel, Showsports: "In the summer I will decide what to do - whether I will go back to Egypt, continue at Wigan or move to another club."

He added: "To attract the attention of clubs so quickly is a good sign for me that I am doing well.

"I must thank God for this success. Credit also goes to (Wigan chairman Dave) Whelan and Bruce for their determination to sign me.

"Despite this, all I want now is to concentrate on my game and improve.
"But my wish is to stay here in the Premier League."

The news is in stark contrast to earlier reports claiming Zaki would snub an approach from Manchester United in order to stay at Wigan.

And with Emile Heskey also out of contract it could leave Bruce looking for two new strikers to lead the attack.

Early days yet though.....
