Landzaat is recovering from an operation on his fractured eye socket whilst Valencia is set to return following his knee operation.

Hutchings told the club's official website: "It is going to give me a real selection poser to have both of them available again, along with Ryan Taylor, who came on for his first taste of action this season against Liverpool.

"If you add those three into the mix, and you consider that I also have Michael Brown, Josip Skoko, Paul Scharner, Jason Koumas and David Cotterill available, that's effectively eight players competing for four midfield places.

"That's some headache I've got there! Every manager will tell you that is the kind of problem you want to have come team selection-time!"

Meantime, defender Titus Bramble is enjoying his run in hte wigan team and is pleased with his performances for the club. The former Toon defender said: "I needed the move away, and with such great boys at this club, it's been easy for me to settle in.

"I know I was often criticised when I was at Newcastle. At times I thought it was fair, but at others I thought they were looking for a scapegoat, and that was me.

"I was big enough to take it, but I was glad to move. Now I'm playing every week, whereas at Newcastle I was in for a few games and then out for a few.
"Playing week in week out is something every footballer needs for consistency, and I think my performances are reflected in that."
