The group of golden oldies who embrased the temporary stage errected at the JJB Stadium were nothing more than a bunch of con artists who marred our terrific achievements over the past season.

The band came out with a pre-prepared drum kit and microphone stands already out on stage.

The lead singer, and the only one with a working microphone lead the way.

The other four members followed. Two of them possessed magical guitars which needed no leads to be connected to them, the drummer his sticks and the other carryed a shiny saxaphone.

Just as the group approached the stae, as if out of thin air, the musc began to play and with the microphone firmly pressed against his thigh the lead singer began to sing.

It was truely breath-taking. Well either that or they were making a blatent attempt at miming.

What a bunch of has beens. To be frank, we've had enough of has beens at Wigan over the past few years, and they we're certainly not welcome in my books after their sorry show.
