Dave Whelan: Rewards the fans by freezing Season ticket prices
The decision to freeze season ticket prices was personally made by Dave Whelan and Chief executive Brenda Spencer as a reward for what they described as 'absolutely superb' support from the Wigan fans throughout our first season in the Premiership.

Wigan Supremo Dave Whelan said: "Wigan Athletic will remain as the most reasonably priced Premiership club in 2006/2007 for its most loyal supporters, and that is crucial if we are to keep on building up our fan-base. I cannot thank the people of Wigan for how they have supported us this year."

Every current season ticket holder, or fans whose names are on theticket office database as having purchased tickets from the JJB Stadium, will be sent full details of the season ticket packages available prior to the on sale date, which is likely to be around the beginning of May.

Meanwhile, match-day tickets will be organized slightly different in 2006-2007, withthe matches being divided into three categorise rather than two, in order of popularity.
