The youngster who rose through the ranks with the Latics has spent the past six months on loan with the SPL side.
After lengthy negotiations between the Latics and Hamilton, Routledge has been allowed to leave the DW Stadium on a permenant basis.
Routledge has signed a short term deal until the end of the season.
