PJ's still not happy

Jewell: Not Happy
Jason De Vos' header in the final seconds of the first period was enough to seal the points, but not enough to satisfy Jewell.

"We struggled from start to finish, teams are going to come here and try and frustrate us, they got a lot of men behind the ball and made it difficult. The performance wasn't there today but we can't be lucky every week."

"They looked a more dangerous side to be fair. We've scored a lot of goals from set plays, and that's due to hard work on the training ground. We've had 16 clean sheets this year, although it wasn't a great game by any standards, but it's three points."

"It was a great ball by Peter from the corner, and Jason got on the end of it, and your half-time team talk changes a little bit really. They came to frustrate us, which they did, and they had a couple of chances themselves."

"My feet are on the ground right now, but you only get excited if you are top of the league at the end of the season, not right now. There are a lot more games to go."

"It was difficult to create chances on that pitch, the ball was bobbling all over the pitch. We can do a lot better and some people might say we struggled but that's 50 points out of 22 games now."

"Scott Green was dead unlucky to be left but it's more of a squad game. We have a lot of games over Christmas and New Year and everyone has a part to play. It was nice to see McCulloch and Liddell coming in today."

Wadsworth: Felt unlucky
Meanwhile Huddersfield boss, Mick Wadsworth was unhappy not to come away with anything yesterday, he said: "In the first half especially we played very well and frustrated Wigan which was our plan.

"We worked hard and I didn't think the gap between the two teams was in evidence judging by the way we played.

"We made a fair fight of it and I'm disappointed not to come away with anything."
