Club physio Alan Tomlinson told the official website that he wouldnt put a timescale on the injury, and that a full recovery for Emile was more important.

He said: "The injury has now been confirmed as a stress fracture and Emile has undergone an operation this evening [Monday] where a screw was inserted into the foot.

"The most important thing is that he fully recovers and the foot heals properly. I'm delighted with how we have dealt with this as a club; Emile was on his way to hospital before the first half had even finished, and has received the best care available."

In the meantime, it is likely that Marcus Bent will be given the chance to show what he can do up front with Antoine Sibierski.

In ticket news, the club have confirmed that there are just 3,000 tickets left for the home game with Liverpool on the 29th of September and recommend that anyone who wants a ticcket buys theirs sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
