Alan Mahon is as good as signed. He has agreed to join from neighbours Blackburn Rovers.The player has agreed terms with the club and the paperwork has just got to be sorted out tomorrow morning while the player trains with his new team mates for the first time.
The 25 year old Republic of Ireland international will go straight into the squad for Saturday's clash with Ipswich Town. A club with whom he spent some tiem on loan with this season.
He joined Rovers for £1.5 million from Lisbon is Portugal, a fee to the Latics is yet to be announced.
