Titus Bramble: Expected on Monday
Bramble has been in talks with a number of clubs since his departure from the Toon, but it would appear that the lure of regular first team football, allied with the ability to stay up north, has won Bramble over.

The former Ipswich defender has represented England at under 21 level and despite an erroneous career at Newcastle, his youth and physical presence would be a big asset to the Latics next season.

Born on the 21 July 1981, Titus who made his professional debut on loan at Colchester United, will turn 26 next month. He made 146 (10) apperance for Newcastle, scoring seven goals.

Meanwhile, Levante have rejected an offer for winger Riga Mustahpa. The bid valued at £1.3 million was rumoured to be from Middlesbrough.

Reports also suggest that former Chelsea and Birmingham defender, Mario Melchiot could be unveiled on Monday if he agrees terms over the weekend.

Antoine Sibierski, another player released by Newcastle this summer is also being linked, and rumours are about that Hutchings has bid £5.5 million for Sheffield United defender/midfielder and player of the season, Phil Jagielka.

Meantime, the new Wigan Athletic home kit for the forthcoming season is set to be released on the 14th of June, prices have yet to be revealed.
