Haestad waiting for chance

Haestad in action against Chelsea
The 23 year old has made just one start for the club - in the away defeat to Chelsea - and is disappointed with the lack of opportunities to prove himself in the top flight.

Haestad said: "I thought I had done something wrong when he asked me to come into the office.
He is not the type who talks much to his players. He said he was very pleased with what I have done.

"He also praised the attitude that I have tackled things with, although I haven't played that many games.
He said I will get my chance if I keep working hard."

The form of both Denny Landzaat and Josip Skoko in the centre of midfield has meant a limitation of these opportunities.

However with both Landzaat and Skoko aged over 30, the tough run-in period will require rotation of the midfield area and Haestad is hoping he gets a chance to prove his ability.

Swedish defender Danny Granqvist will be hoping for a similar chance after he has found his chances limited since a January switch to the Premiership.
