He has also offered new deals to many of the ten out of contract players. Here's what the gaffer had to say: "We are not offering new terms to Gareth Farrelly and Peter Kennedy for next season. They have both played their part during their time here but we are going to let them go with our best wishes and I hope that they both get themselves fixed up elsewhere.

Jewell - "It's looks like Andy (Liddell) will be leaving."
"Although we also have several other players out of contract we have offered them all new deals, be they verbal or written. However, it looks very likely that Andy Liddell will be leaving us as he wants to be playing first team football, and it's likely that he'll get more of that elsewhere. We have some very good Bosman's here and I know there's been plenty of interest in 'Lidds' and Jason De Vos for example, so we'll have to see what the future holds.

"As I said, they've all been offered new deals and are thinking them over but I would never criticise any of my players for taking their time to see what's on offer. They've all done brilliantly for me and for the club, but it's only right that they examine fully what their options are before making a decision.

"I'm hopeful that most of the out of contract players will decide to stay but they have to do what is best for themselves from their point of view. After all they've done for the club, it's right and proper that they are allowed to do that."
