The event sold out in record time as Latics fans faught to get tickets to experience Roberto Martinez and his thoughts first hand.

The Latics boss gave a very open and honest interview and accepted every question from the floor with a refreshing attitude.

He did not hold back and those supporters who were lucky enough to go will certainly know that the club are indeed in very good hands.

Martinez displayed a frighteningly accurate knowledge of not only his Latics team, but also that of the past and on a wider front, the world market of players and the tactical side of the game.

To round off the event, Martinez took his time working round the floor signing autographs and posing for photographs as people enjoyed the hot pot supper.
