Dinning glad to be gone

Dinning, 29, has earned himself a contract at Bristol City in League One after a loan spell at Ashton Gate. Manager Brian Tinnion has been very impressed with his performances.

Dinning fell out of favour with Jewell at the JJB and has been farmed out to clubs all over the country on loan before settling for City.

Dinning said: "Wigan was a dream move for me, but things happened and it went sour. I never again want to be in the position of feeling trapped and not enjoying training, not to mention playing in the reserves all the time."
