Much of the press coverage for the game has been related to Manchester United and how Wigan have done well to get this far.

It seems that while the players are pleased at reaching the final, they want to go one further and bring the cup home to Wigan.

Boss Paul Jewell has been drilling this into his troops all week and captain De Zeeuw has confirmed that the Latics are going to play good football and express themselves.

De Zeeuw said: "He [Jewell] wants us to express ourselves and try to play football if we can in the right areas.

"We try to go out there and do that, it doesn't always work, some teams you get hit on the nose. But I think like other days against Tottenham we went there which is a difficult place to go and played some good football."

If the team put in a performance on par with Arsenal in the semi-final second leg, United will have plenty to think about.
