Cattermole moved to the club from Middlesbrough last summer for a fee of £3.5m and has become a firm favourite with the fans with tireless displays, showing grit and determination in the centre of the park.

With the club performing well this season, special praise has been reserved for Cattermole by boss Bruce and Lee is sure to be in with a big chance of winning the player of the season award at the end of the season.

Bruce said: "He has been our best player this season and has benefited from coming away from the north east."

With Ben Watson coming in from Crystal Palace, fans will be hoping that, once he is settled and match fit, shows the same kind of performances as Cattermole. Watson made his debut against Fulham but is still not 100% fit.
