Camara returned for the reserves today
Speaking about the game, reserve team coach Mark Seagraves said: "When lads don't get to play the full 90 on the Saturday, these fixtures are very useful. I was pleased with the effort of the players, who were made to work hard for the win, which was exactly what they needed."

Meantime, Dutch midfielder Denny Landzaat has been called up to the ational squad to face Switzerland on wednesday. Landzaat received the call after PSV midfielder Ibrahim Afellay sustained an ankle injury in his sides fixture with Heracles at the weekend.

Speaking about his call-up, Landzaat said: "It's very busy in the midfield right now with the national team as there a lot of players from big clubs."

And the Latics are being linked with Rennes full back Erik Edman after new captain Mario Melchiot recommneded the Swedish international to manager Chris Hutchings.

There is also £5 off tickets to the Carling Cup fixture with Hull City on Tuesday the 28th August. Season ticket holders who purchase their tickets before 2pm on Saturday will pay just £10 to see the match.

It is just two seasons ago that Paul Jewell and Arjan De Zeeuw led the side out at the Millenium Stadium for the final of this competition. Can the Latics achieve such a feat again?
