Blake wants Wigan move

Blake has been quoted as saying: ""I've never been engineering a move away from Burnley, but the opportunity to join Wigan has come around and I have to think about number one," he said.

"Every player wants to play in the Premiership if they can and I'm at a stage in my life where I need to be trying to get one last push there - Wigan are offering me a great opportunity to do that."

 "All the recent talk has been distracting, but you have to get on with it and up until last Saturday at Sunderland I feel I've coped okay - but there's been too much going on in my mind and it's a bit of a nightmare."

There has been no comment from either club at this time.
