100 League goals for the Duke
Wigan Athletic thrashed local neighbours Preston North End 5-0 in front of millions, courtesy of the Sky Sports cameras.

Lee McCulloch opened the scoring after he reacted first to tap in the rebound from his own header.

North End then had a goal disallowed as Chris Lucketti pushed McCulloch in the back from a corner.

Alan Mahon extended Wigan's lead after the break with a great finish from Roberts perfectly placed pass.

Ellington the took his career league tally to 100 with two goals to send Preston out of the game before Jason Roberts scored a penatly. The goal his performance deserved.

To cap off a wonderful victory, it meant that the Latics returned to the top of the table.
