Zaki, Heskey and Kirkland doubts for Saturday

Zaki hasn't been injury free since suffering a calf injury over a month ago.

However the Egyptian has also come down with flu, and his appearances against Stoke and Arsenal have not helped that situation.

His personal advisor, Mohamed Saied said: "He played with flu against Stoke and Arsenal, he is also complaining from an old calf injury. Furthermore, he received a knock to his ribs during the Arsenal match."

Emile Heskey meanwhile has been rated at 50/50 following the hamstring injury that forced him out of the Stoke game.

The England international also missed the midweek cup game with Arsenal.

Kirkland meanwhile has been suffering with a long stadning back complaint. The injury was aggrivated on the journey to the Emirates, and the drive up to Newcaslte is unlikely to help the situation.
