Williams bid launched

Henri Camara: Return
The 21 year old has impressed the Wigan scouts and Hutchings knows it is vitally important to add a left back to his squad before the transfer window closes at the end of August.

With any deal for West Brom's Paul Robinson going cold after his failed medical, a move for Williams seems to be on the cards, and he could be a Wigan player by the weekend if a fee can be agree with United.

Meantime, despite supporter pressure, it appears that Hutchings is going to gamble on the commitment and fitness of Henri Camara up front, rather than bring in another forward. Only time will tell if this is a wise move or not.

Many supporters are sceptical over Henri Camara after an anonymous season last time round. However noises coming out of the JJB appear to suggest he has shaken off the knee injury that plagued him last season, and the Senegal international is raring to go against Middlesbrough on Wednesday.
