Wigan Athletic have confirmed the permanent signing of Yanic Wildschut from Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee.
The Dutchman impressed at the DW Stadium during his recent three-month loan spell and has put pen-to-paper on a three-and-a-half year deal.
When speaking to the official club website, Wildschut said: "I have loved playing for Wigan, everyone at the club has been great to me, the fans sing my name, and I'm so happy that everything is now done.
"I can concentrate on playing now again and helping us climb the table."
During his loan contract with the Latics, the 24-year old made 17 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals. Twitter:
