It has been a productive few weeks with Hutchings signing former Newcastle pair Titus Bramble and Antoine Sibierski on free signings and adding the former Birmingham defender, also on a free, this week.

Hutchings has not finished there however, with his Chairman confirming the
Chairman Dave Whelan
club want at least three more players.

He told Sky Sports News: "We've started early and we've signed what I feel are three very, very good players and we've got another three signings to go.

"We've got to have a squad. The ambition is to stabilise in this division and then move into Europe.

"It's players who Chris and John (Benson) have come up with and so far they have come up with some quality players.

"I'm encouraging them and saying let's go out and let's get Wigan Athletic recognised as being a force in the Premier League.

"You know what the football market is like, there's so many rumours going round it. We are looking and we are in the market big style."
