Thome Injury Update

PJ told the club's official website:"'Emo' felt his hamstring go early on on Saturday but fortunately we don't think he's completely torn it. By getting him off early we have probably saved any serious damage and that is good news. However, I would say that he is very doubtful for the game against Leeds because you have to be careful with hamstring injuries and we will be with this one.

"Although this is disappointing, I thought Matt Jackson came on and did very well in his place at Crewe. 'Jacko' was disappointed when I told him I was leaving him out but it is the measure of him that he came on after about 10 minutes and put in that type of performance.

"Jacko' is a credit to himself and played an important part in the win on Saturday. His experience shone through on what was a difficult afternoon for defenders because of the blustery conditions, and I was pleased with the way he peformed despite of the obvious disappointment of being left out of the starting line-up."
