....but with Henchoz departed, DeZeeuw has moved quick to reclaim the shirt
Arjan DeZeeuw
he previously wore during his first spell with Wigan.

DeZeeuw, whos favourite is number 6, said: "It's my favourite number, I wanted to make sure i got it back before anyone else claimed it!"

New signing Fitz Hall has inherited the number 5 shirt previously worn by Brazilian Emesron Thome.

Chairman Dave Whelan paid tribute to his latest aquisition: "He's a big lad, he's strong, he's quick and Paul Jewell has proven already that he has a very uncanny way of choosing players and making them do what he wants, and of turning them into better players than when they arrived."

Meanwhile, the future of the number 9 shirt as of yet is undecided. Nathan Ellington vacated the shirt prior to last season and it was left vacated through the whole of last season. However with the promise of new strikers, the shirt is sure to be filled soon.
