Ellington celebrates promotion to the Premiership with Wigan Athletic
And we'll stick to chasing European football.

Nathan Ellington must feel like the biggest clown in the country. Over the close season he and his agent took things too far with contract negotiations and Paul Jewell thought he could get better value for money elsewhere.

The Duke left for West Brom and Henri Camara came in from Wolves. Whilst Camara has played a huge part in the Latics' success, Ellington has struggled to achieve a place on the bench for the Baggies who are stuck in a relegation battle.

It now seems like the Duke and his agent are trying to force a move back to the JJB. Not likely.

Commenting on the recent newspaper speculation Wigan Athletic boss - and manager of the month - Paul Jewell said: ''I bought him (Ellington) for £750,000 and sold him for £3m. We've done well out of that. Never say never but they also say never go back. I've seen a little bit of speculation in the newspapers but there's nothing in it.''

However, wiganer.net would like to offer congratulations to the Duke on becoming a father recently, and wish him the best of luck with his career at West Bromwich Albion.
