Gary Teale
... of the Carling Cup Final on Sunday.

Teale, 27, is hoping to establish himself in the Scotland squad. He said: "Hopefully, I can win my first cap this week. It is a massive opportunity for me. Now I have my foot in the door, I aim to take my chance.

"I want to be involved in Scotland squads for years to come and become an established international."

Scotland manager Walter Smith said: "I would like to give him a run-out but obviously it's a slightly awkward time for him, although, like everything else, we can't pick and choose our timing.

"He played in the League Cup final in England and it was a huge game for him. But he is one of the people who I will see in training before naming the team."

Fellow Latic, Lee McCulloch is unlikely to feature as he fights for match fitness following a double hernia operation.
