Gary Teale: Signed up until 2007.
26 year old Teale has put pen to paper on a deal for two years and he told the club's official website that he has enjoyed his time at the club and hopes the future is much more of the same.

He said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have agreed this new deal with Wigan Athletic and I can't wait for the season to start now. I've enjoyed every minute of my time at Wigan since joining four years ago and I was always certain in my mind that I wanted to stay. I have a tremendous relationship with the manager (Paul Jewell) and he's obviously been a big factor in me committing myself to Latics for these extra two years."

Whilst his manager Paul Jewell spoke of his delight at gaining the serivces of the flying winger until 2007.

He said:"Tealey has been a pleasure to manage with and it's great news for both the club and the player that this deal has been done. He has the pace and the skill to frighten defences at all levels and I think Premiership defences will struggle to handle him. If there's one thing defenders don't like it's pace and Gary is one of the quickest I've ever worked with."
