St Mirren have stepped in to help out Latics on Saturday 8th August as Almeria have pulled out of the first friendly to be played in Wigan in four years.
The Scottish side have stepped in brilliantly to help the cause so fans can catch of Roberto Martinez's men a week before the season gets started.
Almeria were also due to play Swansea in a friendly but again the club has pulled out of this game.
