"It was a tough one all right for us. For most of the game we played well, but there were some nervous moments."
Whilst Bruce himself has revelaed his desire to one day manage the Old Trafford club. He added: "Whether you're playing or managing you want to get to the top of your profession. You're always striving to be good and if you're going to do this job then why not set your aspirations to go to the very top.
"If I can, or if I get the opportunity then who knows? Eight months ago I would have been lucky to have got the Scunthorpe job!"
