Sibierski to return to Wigan / Dream for Rodallega

Contrary to reports that Norwich City had completed a deal to sign Antoine Sibierski, Steve Bruce has confirmed the former Manchester City and Newcastle striker will return to the club and be in contention to play unless Norwich move to make the loan permanent.

If Sibierski does return it will add much needed depth to the striking department. Sibierski, who hit three goals in as many games when he first signed, has struggled to break into the side since Bruce took over and will want to prove that he can still play at the top level.

"Sibi is due to come back on January 17 and I've no problem about that happening," Bruce said.

He added: "The loan has served its purpose as Sibi has got some games under his belt and would be available for our squad.

"At the moment there hasn't been an approach from Norwich to take him for longer, so I assume he will come back to us."

Meanwhile, Hugo Rodallega has stated that it is a 'Dream coming true' to play in the Premier League, ahead of his move next week with a work permit the only thing preventing Rodallega joining earlier.

"I am very motivated to be playing alongside such a talented group of players," said Rodallega, who expects to be a Wigan player by 15th January.

"I am very happy because a very good piece of news has been finally confirmed. This is one of my dreams coming true.
