Spencer told the club's official website:"We are almost ready to make an announcement on prices for season tickets.We've explored every avenue to make sure we get this decision spot on and I believe supporters will be happy with the proposals when we release them.
"Obviously prices are going to increase now we are in the Premiership, but I'm very proud that Wigan Athletic has always been one of the cheapest clubs to follow in whichever division we have been in and I believe we'll be one of the most competitive yet again this year."
The club has been looking into systems used by other Premiership clubs and are close to deciding on the best method to implement at the JJB.
