Rosler expectant ahead of Ipswich test

Mick McCarthy's men were convincingly beaten by the Latics in the last contest between the two side, but Uwe Rosler is expecting a tougher test this time around.

“Last year’s game was a completely different scenario,” he told the Evening Post.

“First of all it was a home game for them, and we went there with a game-plan based on counter attack.

“Now we are playing at home and that means a completely different approach to the game.

“We also have a different playing squad now and have a different way of playing this season.

“There is a reason why we are playing with three centre-backs, and with three in the centre of midfield.

“Our game now is very much based on possession, but we have to make sure we play a little bit quicker than we have been doing, and be more clinical in front of goal.”
