Rose to replace Arry?

The 26 year old is stalling over signing a new contract with the London club and this has alerted Jewell to a potential signing.

However Oldham Athletic are also said to be interested in the former Arsenall centre back. Rose only played 5 games for the Gunners before a £500,000 move to QPR where he has been for the past five seasons.

Jewell looks favourite to sign the Dartford born defender with Oldham having recently signed defender Dean Holden from Bolton.
