Roberts: Go easy on the Duke

Nathan Ellington: Warm welcome anyone?
The Duke, 24, has not replicated the form he showed at the JJB Stadium and many Baggies fans are bemused with the performances that Ellington has produced.

Ellington made his debut for Robson's men in their 4-0 defeat to Chelsea back in August and has managed six goals in twenty appearances.

Jason Roberts on the other hand has shown just what he is capable of in the Premiership scoring nine goals and forging an outstanding partnership with Henri Camara in the Wigan attack.

The pair are set to meet on Sunday and Roberts asked the Latics fans to go easy on Nathan who was jeered out of the game at the Hawthorns earlier in the season.

Roberts said: "It would be a shame if anything deflects from the fact that Nathan was fantastic for this club, and this club was fantastic for him.

"Above anything else he did a lot for this club, and if it wasn't for his goals we wouldn't be in the Premiership this season."
