Despite the bitterly cold temperatures thousands of Latics fans queued for over four hours to get their hands on the tickets.
The game represents a piece of history for Wigan as it is the first game at the new Wembley and the first FA Cup Semi Final for the club.
Tickets are on sale to season ticket holders all week (Each season ticket entitles the holder to three Wembley tickets) before being released for general sale next Sunday.
