N'Zogbia reiterates 'stepping stone' comments

Clearly with one eye on the January transfer window, Charles N'Zogbia is quoted in the Daily Star: “Wigan is just a stepping stone. They know very well I’m not a player who is going to stay at the club.

“I give 100% on the pitch, but, if there’s a bigger club that wants me, the manager and the president have always told me the door is open for discussion.”

The former Newcastle United player has been in impressive form for the Latics so far this season and will no doubt have turned a number of heads with his displays.

However the French international has made no secret of his desire to move to a so called 'big club', the only problem seems to be, none of them are interested.

Perhaps if Charlie were to settle down and focus on his football for a full season, as opposed to a few weeks, then somebody such as Manchester United may come knocking.

Luis Antonio Valencia can be considered the shining example on how to secure your 'big' move. The Equadorian was a model professional during his time with the club before his move to United.
