number one goalkeeper, with new boy Nash expected to fight with Pollitt for a place on the bench.

Fellow new boy Mario Melchiot has been left with no shirt number for now, with fellow defender Ryan Taylor being rewarded for breaking into the first-team by being handed the number two shirt, formerly held by Andreas Granqvist.

Granqvist, who made his loan move permanent, has taken Matt Jacksons number four shirt, with Arjan De Zeeuws number unusualy going to striker Antoine Sibierski.

Ryan Taylors old shirt has been given to Titus Bramble.

The number three and 25 shirts, held previously by Steve McCmillan and David Unsworth are currently available.
