Dean Ashton of Norwich and Johan Elmander of Brondby are said to be the two strikers interesting Jewell the most and the Latics boss is said to be interested in Huseyin Cimsir who is a team mate of Fatih Tekke at Trabzonspor.
Jewell is also said to be after Scott Brown from Scottish Premier League side Hibernian. Brown, 20, is a small, combative midfield player who is said to be interesting Celtic and Fulham aswell as the Latics.
