No further advance on Moses

Moses was a real highlight for the Latics toward the tail end of last season and has been the subject of three bids from the European Champions this summer.

With the highest present bid standing at £5 million, and half-way toward the Latics valuation of £10 million, there is clearly a long way to go if Moses is to leave this summer.

Speaking about the transfer, chairman Dave Whelan said: "Everyone keeps telling me Chelsea have come up with a new offer, but we have yet to hear from them."

The valuation of £10 million from the Latics seems more than fair when the level of £25 million for Brazilian Oscar is being touted.
If Chelsea are serious about their intentions to add Moses to their ranks, perhaps they stop offering Monopoly money and take their offers seriously.
