Lee Nicholls has returned to Wigan Athletic following his three-month loan spell at League Two outfit Bristol Rovers.
The 23-year old goalkeeper made 18 appearances for the Pirates and kept five clean sheets during that time.
Nicholls leaves Bristol Rovers just one point off the League Two play-off spots, but their manager, Darrell Clarke, admits he is interested in bringing the 'keeper back to the Memorial Stadium in the January transfer window.
