`The Duke' added to his growing reputation by notching against Cardiff in the 2-2 draw at the weekend, just days after his hat-trick had destroyed West Brom at the JJB Stadium in the Worthington Cup.
Everton manager David Moyes is known to have been present at both games, although there has been no confirmed interest from the Toffeemen, and Whelan insists Ellington is staying at the club ``for the foreseeable future''.
Top draw Mr Whelan, keeping Ellington has got to be a top priority and with the cash not having such a strong influence on the club, he's got to be INVALUABLE!
