The nineteen year old striker suffered the injury in the first half after falling awkwardly following a challenge with Emmanuel Eboue.

"He has dislocated his shoulder and is in hospital now," said Wigan boss Roberto Martinez after the match. "We will have to assess how he is feeling and we need to look at the extent of the whole injury."

It is more than likely that Moses will require surgery to correct any ligament damage to the injury, with the usual come back time placed at anywhere between two and three months.
