Melchiot wants three years

It is expected that new manager Chris Hutchings will stick to his guns and is willing to let Melchiot move elsewhere if the Dutch defender continues to stall.

Meantime, the club have had a bid for Fulham's Michael Brown turned down. There has been no inclination of the bids value, but it is expected that Hutchnigs will go back with an improved offer.
