Wigan Athletic winger James McClean became an injury concern after he limped out of a training session on international duty.

McClean recently served a two match suspension for his club, missing both home games against Watford and Bolton Wanderers.

However, at the beginning of this week he joined up with the Republic of Ireland squad, as they prepare for their Euro 2016 qualifier with Group D leaders Poland.

The 25-year old midfielder had his ankle heavily strapped Tuesday morning, as he was driven away from their Malaise training ground to go for a scan.

He has now got his club and country on stand-by, despite telling fans he will be fit for the Poland match.
