The twenty-five year old Honduran has made the left back spot his own at the JJB Stadium after his debut against Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo at the tail of last season.
Figueroa told the club's official website: "To play in the English Premier League has always been a dream for me and I am really happy that

Whilst Steve Bruce added: "He has done well for us this season and is now getting used to the rigours of the Premier League. I think he can go on to have a great career with us. He's strong, quick and powerful and I think the best is yet to come from him."
