Despite announcing that he is 'not too concerned' with the rest of the transfer window, Martinez is believed to be hoping to make one further addition following the news of Moses' departure.
Speaking yesterday the Latics boss said: "At the moment, we are still looking at if we can bring in maybe another player but it has to be the right one and he has to be the right character to fit in.
"But I'm not too concerned by the rest of the window. I'm very pleased with the signings we have made and with the players we have kept in the squad."
Despite the departure of Moses the Latics are looking strong up front with the additions of Ryo Myaichi on loan from Arsenal and Arouna Kone's permanent switch from Levante.
As ever, Martinez will not move for the wrong character and only a player to strengthen the squad would be considered.
