Long summer comes to an end tomorrow

We have seen plenty of change this summer with a few departures and plenty of new faces arriving at the DW Stadium. No, Martinez has until 5pm to add to his squad and move on any player he feels is not up to the mark. Crystal Palace youngster Victor Moses and Celtics' Scott McDonald have both been linked with moves but there may be a surprise or two when the window shuts.

There may be a few departures as well tomorrow with 11 midfielders currently on the books. At the moment, Martinez plays 5 in midfield so around another 4 or 5 will be sufficient back up. Ben Watson has been linked with a few Championship clubs even before his poor performance in the Carling Cup. Marlon King could move on but it would not be a surprise if he was still here on September 2nd.

Martinez will have money to spend tomorrow but has yet to really splash out on a big money move for a player. Do not rule this out tomorrow with a striker hopefully on the radar. Plenty of chain reactions will occur on deadline day so at most, 3 deals could be made tomorrow.
