Lee Chun's Wigan move in doubt

Lee was scheduled to be in Wigan later this week to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical, but rejected the move after learing the Latics were only interested in a six-month loan deal, with a view to a permanent signing.

Although not totally against a loan switch, reports in Korea suggest Lee would join on loan, depending on the terms and conditions of the contract.

However, Paul Jewell is still confident of striking a deal for the player, who has been an integral part of the South Korean national team.
