Lawrenson - Bruce made a smart move

Few men have had to face the flack he has over the last fewmonths. All that critism about his supposed lack of loyalty must have hurt like hell.

But there is no denying that he made the right decsion to leave Crystal Palace and Wigan, no matter what fans of those clubs might think.

Because however much fans bang on about loyalty, there is no such thing in football.

If Steve Bruce would have gone ten matches without a win at Palace or Wigan would the chairmen of those clubs shown him loyalty? No.

He would have been looking for another job. As it is, he is looking forward to a well earned crack at testing himself in the Premiership. Thats why he moved to Birmingham.

At Wigan, they have almost a manager a season, such is the casualty rate there. So leaving was a smart move when Bruce had a better offer.

Complete crap from a man who knows nothing. Yes Bruce did leave Wigan but just before he left, he decided to release half the first team!!!
