Arjan De Zeeuw
Former Wigan captain Arjan De Zeeuw, and England international midfielder Steve Stone are both targets for Jewell thios summer.

De Zeeuw, 35, is currently the captain at Pompey and has stated that he feels he has two good years left in his legs at the top level.

An impressive, commanding centre-back, the Dutchman has grown into a real fans favourite at Fratton Park and has shown he is more than capable at the top level over the past few years.

Steve Stone meanwhile, is out of contract and does not have an offer on the table from Pompey as new manager Alain Perrin is clearing out a large number of his first team squad.

33 year old Stone is a real midfield work-horse with a touch of quality. He is another one who the Portsmouth fans do not want to leave and he would be a more than welcome addition to the Latics midfield.

Portsmouth have also released goalkeeper Shaka Hislop, defender Hayden Foxe and midfielder Patrick Berger looks set to leave for pastures new.
